  • Broad Funding Guidelines: Grantmaking is divided into Bay Area initiatives and Jewish Community initiatives. In the Bay Area, they focus on Higher Education, K–12 Education, and Food Programs. Their Jewish Community grants support U.S.-Israel bridge-building and combating antisemitism.

Bainum Family Foundation

  • Mission & Purpose: The foundation's vision is a society where all children thrive. They partner with communities to co-create lasting systems change for the well-being of young children and their families, with a focus on children of color and those in low-income households.

  • Broad Funding Guidelines: Their work is centered on Early Childhood and includes five focus areas: Early Learning, Mental Health and Well-being, Health, Family Economic Security, and Housing Stability. They also have Legacy Programs that support other issues important to the Bainum family.
