Mission & Purpose: To provide new, quality, hardcover children’s books to rural public libraries across the United States. The foundation recognizes that libraries are often the center of community life in rural areas.

Broad Funding Guidelines: This is a national foundation, but it is highly specialized. It only funds rural public libraries. They do not give cash grants for general operations; instead, they provide a 2-to-1 match for the purchase of children's books.
